SINGAPORE Travel Guide by Lux Nomade: where to eat, stay and get pampered.
SINGAPORE Travel Guide by Lux Nomade is your guide to the best hotels, restaurants, and spas!
Singapore is a city in constant progress. As one cab driver explains “in Singapore, we always look for new projects, new things to develop, we are like ants, we never stop”. The Jewel at Changi Airport, Gardens by the Bay and the new extended Santosa Island (currently in progress) might be a result of the Singaporeans eagerness to build, develop and create.
WHERE TO EAT IN SINGAPORE?
Singapore has recently been ranked as the best city in the world for street food in 2019. This probably doesn’t come as a surprise if you’ve ever been here before and been lucky to visit the many hawkers around the city. Chinese, Malaysian, Indian, Western food, they have it all! And quite unique for a comparatively expensive city, a Laksa, Mee Goreng or Wonton soup won’t set you back more than S$5.
Our current favourite restaurants are Jam at Siri House in Tanglin, Bar Cicheti in Chinatown and Basque Kitchen by Aitor in Tanjong Pagar. For Cantonese fine-dining Cassia is exceptional.
