Suitcase Series: Lauren Hearn, Founder of Three Suns

This week we caught up with Lauren Hearn, the woman behind the crystal-infused candle brand Three Suns, to find out what she never travels without, her packing tips, and what her most memorable trip has been so far…

Lauren is a mum of 3 boys and the founder of Three Suns, a luxury crystal-infused candle and self-care brand made to brighten their customers’ homes and add a little bit of luxury into their lives. Lauren and her son Wyatt decided they wanted to make a positive impact and contribute to making the world a better place when Wyatt was diagnosed with ADHD, anxiety, and dyslexia back in 2019. The Three Suns brand finally came to life during Covid-19 2020 – having seen first-hand the impact and positive energy that crystals had had on Wyatt’s life during his struggles.  Together Lauren and Wyatt have now both experienced the power that crystals have brought into their lives, and they want to share that positivity and love through their creations.

Being a mother of three and a business owner, Lauren faces the daily challenges of life and motherhood but has the drive to infuse her positive mindset, kindness, and support of mental health into every aspect of the Three Suns brand. With a hope to lift their customers’ lives, even a little, when they experience their creations.

In this week’s Suitcase Series, equipped with Three Sun’s Hunti Candle ($42.95) we take a sneak peek into Lauren’s travel psyche…

What’s been your most memorable trip, and why?

A beautiful memory of mine would have to be my trip to Cancun, Mexico when I was 24. I recall sipping red wine overlooking the Caribbean whilst belly laughing with my mother, creating memories and enjoying life together. A memory I will cherish forever.

Three Suns
Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal: Los Cabos Luxury Resort is Lauren’s favourite hotel

What’s your favourite ever hotel?

I would have to say Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal: Los Cabos Luxury Resort – It has the most magical infinity pool where you can unwind and relax & allow yourself to get lost in the beautiful scenery.

Where or what is your escape?

My morning walks, Meditations and Journaling sessions – I love having this time to myself & being able to fuel my soul with goodness before my husband and kids wake up.

If you could go anywhere tomorrow, it would be…

Sailing through the Mediterranean with my family.

What’s your idea of a luxury wellness holiday?

Anywhere tropical, where I can truly zone out, get pampered, allow myself to disconnect from the hustle and be present with my husband and kids.

Three Suns
Elysium Hotel, Cyprus in on Lauren’s bucket-list

My top bucket-list destination is…

Elysium Hotel – Cyprus!!

If you could sit next to anyone – dead or alive – on a long-haul flight, who would it be?

No one, I think I would prefer to sit with my family and relax for a long-haul flight… lol!

What is your jet-lag recovery tip?

A few days before we arrive to a destination, we ensure we sleep on that time zone so that we are not too thrown off by the different zones. We maintain exercise, drink a lot of water, and do daily 15min mediations with our favourite Amethyst crystal candle – Hunti’ – this helps calm the mind and soul and assists us with any anxieties we may be holding onto during our travels.

Three Suns

Hunti | Candle of Tranquility |Camellia + Lotus Blossom Crystal Infused

The ‘Hunti’ candle is the kind of relaxation and revitalisation that we could all use after a long day. Perfect for those wanting to wash away the day-to-day anxieties & stresses that keep you up at night with the infusion of amethyst crystals, and the beautiful blend of Camellia, Lotus Blossom, and Musk.

RRP:$42.95

What is your number one packing tip?

Pull out items you think you will need, half it, then half it again! We find we never wear half of what we pack, and we tend to wear the same things repeatedly! We also use packing bags which helps keep things organised.

I never travel without…

My fav crystals & journal!

In my beauty/toiletry bag I always bring…

Sunscreen, Makeup, Face Wash & Perfume.

You don't stay at the Sofitel Legend Metropole for You don't stay at the Sofitel Legend Metropole for the check-in experience—you stay because 1901 wrote better architecture than most cities can build today. Ten years after Graham Greene walked these halls, and they haven't missed a beat. The Opera House steps, the wartime tunnels underfoot, the Angelina salon where cocktails taste like history—they're all part of a legacy that doesn't need to shout to be heard. Three hours from Hanoi. Seven hectares on the edge Three hours from Hanoi. Seven hectares on the edge of Ha Long Bay. Two buildings designed like traditional fishing vessels. One rooftop dinner that pairs Kagoshima Wagyu with Nuits-Saint-Georges. The math checks out. What makes this property exceptional isn't the awards or the price points—it's the willingness to let simple things (poolside pizza, afternoon tea with a limestone backdrop, quiet mornings at the Club Lounge) carry as much weight as the five-course tasting menus. Sometimes luxury is knowing when not to try too hard. Read @janoahvankekem ´s full review of @intercontinental_halongbay for @luxnomade on the website.
