New in Canggu: Beach House at Regent Bali Brings Elevated Dining and Oceanfront Vibes

When searching for “Regent Bali,” travelers often encounter two distinct luxury experiences: the established Regent Bali in Seminyak and the brand-new Regent Bali Canggu, which just opened its doors with the stunning Beach House venue. Both properties offer world-class hospitality, but they cater to different vibes.

The Seminyak location is known for its traditional Balinese architecture, private pool villas, and proximity to the island’s dining scene. Meanwhile, the new Regent Bali Canggu brings a fresh, surf-luxury aesthetic to Echo Beach, featuring 150 suites, a new spa, and the highly anticipated Beach House restaurant.

In this 2026 guide, we break down the differences between these two iconic properties so you can choose the perfect stay for your Bali escape. Whether you prefer the classic elegance of Seminyak or the oceanfront energy of Canggu, here is everything you need to know.

Elevated Coastal Dining

The menu centres on fresh, locally sourced ingredients—think Tuna Tataki with oyster sauce, a standout Lobster Roll, and Spicy Shrimp with tobiko and house-made mayo. A signature seafood BBQ highlights live-caught lobster, seabream, and red snapper, alongside dishes like Wagyu striploin and a roasted zero-waste cauliflower—designed with both flavour and sustainability in mind.

New for 2026: Regent Bali Canggu & Beach House

The newest addition to the Regent family is the Regent Bali Canggu, located directly on Echo Beach. This luxury beachfront resort features 150 suites and villas spread across six hectares of landscaped gardens. Designed by WATG with interiors by HBA, it merges modern architecture with Balinese culture.

Beach House: Elevated Coastal Dining The crown jewel of the new resort is Beach House, a beachfront venue offering panoramic views of the Indian Ocean. It brings elevated dining and oceanfront vibes to Canggu, blending laid-back beach culture with refined cuisine.

  • The Menu: Features fresh, locally sourced ingredients like Tuna Tataki, Lobster Roll, and a signature seafood BBQ with live-caught lobster and Wagyu striploin.
  • Drinks: A curated list of craft cocktails, including the “Waves” and “Surf Garden,” plus exclusive poolside experiences like the Cocktail Cabana.
  • Lifestyle: In collaboration with Rip Curl, the venue offers private surf lessons and wellness-focused programming.

The resort also features five dining venues (two led by award-winning Chef Andrew Walsh), the exclusive Regent Club, and a soon-to-open Regent Spa & Wellness focused on energy healing and aromatherapy.

Crafted Cocktails & Signature Experiences

The drinks list is just as curated. The Waves and Surf Garden cocktails mix tropical fruits and botanicals for refreshing results, while private poolside experiences like the Cocktail Cabana or Effervescent Escape (champagne + bites) offer a more exclusive touch.

Surf & Lifestyle at Your Doorstep

In collaboration with Rip Curl, Beach House also offers private surf lessons and 3–5-day packages suitable for all levels. With on-site events, creative brand partnerships, and wellness-focused programming, the space is designed to evolve with Bali’s lifestyle scene.

About Regent Bali Canggu

The Regent Bali Canggu is a luxury beachfront resort offering 150 suites and villas spread across six hectares of landscaped gardens. Located just north of Seminyak, the resort features five dining venues (two led by award-winning Chef Andrew Walsh), the exclusive Regent Club, and a soon-to-open Regent Spa & Wellness, focused on energy healing, aromatherapy, and light therapy.

Designed by WATG with interiors by HBA, the resort merges modern architecture with Balinese culture and design. Landscapes by John Pettigrew connect lush gardens, an infinity pool, and direct beach access.

The 2026 Verdict: Two Icons, One Brand

As we move into 2026, the Regent brand in Bali offers a unique choice for luxury travelers. The Seminyak resortremains a timeless favorite for those seeking traditional Balinese charm and spacious villas. The new Canggu resort is the place to be for surfers, foodies, and those who want to be right on Echo Beach with the new Beach House dining experience.

Both properties deliver the signature Regent level of service and luxury. When booking, be sure to specify which location you prefer, as they are in different parts of the island. For more insights on where to stay in Bali and beyond, explore our full collection of Asian travel guides.

Sometimes luxury shows up quietly, without fanfare Sometimes luxury shows up quietly, without fanfare or a grand lobby to announce its presence. That is exactly how Finca Victoria arrived in Sa Riera—a restored estate where the pine-covered hills and Mediterranean set the tone before you even step inside.

Opened in 2025 after careful renovation of a historic property, it captures something rare on the Costa Brava: the feeling of having discovered a corner that hasn't yet lost its soul. Just thirty-eight rooms, all adults over fourteen, spread across what feels more like a private summer house than a resort determined to impress from the first moment. The central cloister anchors everything, with warm stone arches, ceramics, and Catalan tuff flooring that gives you a sense of place without leaning too hard on nostalgia.

The food alone tells you this was done with intention. AlKostat del Mar, led by chef Jordi Vilà, serves seasonal Catalan cooking rooted in local produce and fire. A rice dish can become the reason you're traveling somewhere new. Breakfast stretches from eight until eleven with made-to-order hot options alongside a carefully edited buffet—eggs Benedict with salmon, avocado toast, regional specialties like black butifarra with beans—that makes rushing feel unnecessary.

But what lingers is the room itself. In our Terrace Suite, nearly sixty square metres overlooked both sea and the rolling hills of Begur. The bathroom held both bathtub and rainfall shower. An outdoor shower faced sideways toward the horizon. These details don't shout; they settle into your memory slowly.

Spa appointments run through the Victoria Wellness Spa with water circuits, saunas, jacuzzis, and sensory treatments—all requiring advance booking, which somehow makes the peace even sweeter when you arrive. Morning yoga happens inside one of the suites, sunlight filling the space as you ground yourself into the day rather than race through it.

There is a complimentary shuttle to Begur village until late evening, and the beach is literally a short walk away. Private boat trips can be arranged for up to six people. Paddleboards, loungers, anything on the water the hotel can help coordinate through external partners. Yet even with
