Some of the cosiest tiny houses fit for a post lockdown escape
If you are looking for a place to unwind with beautiful views on an off-grid adventure a tiny house (or cottage) is for you.
L.N Why is a tiny house the perfect holiday accommodation?
A.S My brother Ben and I created Tiny Stays because we were sick of the same old routine of going to work, coming home, playing on our phones, then going to bed. We thought, surely there had to be more to life! We sat down one night and wrote down all our passions so we could hopefully turn into profit and find a bigger purpose in life, instead of living the mediocre lifestyle of work and not much play. Our passions included building, travel, adventure & being more eco-friendly. That is when we found the Tiny House Movement… Our tiny houses are the perfect holiday accommodation because it gives you the chance to escape work, escape your bosses and emails and go spend some quality time in nature with your loved ones disconnecting from technology – but reconnecting with yourself.
L.N What are the things to consider when staying in a tiny house?
A.S Staying in a Tiny House really brings you back to the simple things in life. Yes, you have a fully equipped kitchen, hot shower & queen size bed – but it is all about living that minimalistic lifestyle. A couple of things to pack on your adventure:
– Warm clothes in the winter
– Cheese & Wine (obviously…..)
– Your Sonos Roam – like you would ever leave the house without it anyway! 😉
L.N Why do you think tiny houses have become so popular?
A.S Tiny Houses have become popular for a number of reasons
A) People are sick of living their life in debt with a huge mortgage, more and more often now people are choosing to go back to the more simple life & swapping materialistic things for memories, adventures & experiences.
B) We are all looking for ways to be a lot more eco-friendly in this day and age and a tiny house is a perfect way to do your bit for the environment. Our Tiny Stays Tiny Houses are completely off-grid which means they have a composting toilet, solar panels & water tanks.
C) Something different! Fitting everything you need in life on a 5m long x 2.5m wide trailer… There is something magical about that!
