Suitcase Series: Stephanie Korn, Co-Founder of Form and Fold

This week we caught up with Stephanie Korn the Co-Founder of Form and Fold, a luxury swimwear brand for D+ women, to find out what she never travels without, their packing tips, and what their most memorable trip has been so far…

Stephanie Korn, Co-founder of Form and Fold, had always struggled to find swimwear that fit. Driven by their own experiences of feeling self-conscious at the beach, lifelong friends Stephanie Korn (Bachelor of Textile Technology) and Carly Warson (Bachelor of Business/Marketing) founded Form and Fold in 2017.

Stephanie and Carly met in playgroup at the age of 1 and practically grew up in each other’s homes. With their shared appreciation for art, design and craftsmanship and an intimate understanding of the market (wearing a 32DD and 32E cup respectively), the pair knew they were the perfect team to fill the gaping hole for fit and design-focused D+ swimwear.

Stephanie is determined to continue liberating D+ women in and out of the water with a quality product that is flattering and functional alongside a brand that is empowering and inclusive too.

In this week’s Suitcase Series, we take a sneak peek into Stephanie’s travel psyche…

What’s been your most memorable trip and why?

I loved hiring a car to explore the breathtaking Greek Island of Crete. Discovering the amazing communities living in the mountains, where I got to try delicious local dishes. Boating along the coastline was a highlight, especially finding hidden coves while swimming in the clearest water. Everything felt so much more special being away from the typical tourist spots.

What’s your favourite ever hotel?

I absolutely adore Mezzatorre in Ischia. The stunning views of the sea, the relaxing atmosphere, and the exceptional service made it feel like a little slice of paradise.

Where or what is your escape?

The ocean is my haven. I love Surfing at Currumbin Beach in Queensland and honestly, nothing beats it.

If you could go anywhere tomorrow it would be…

If I could go anywhere tomorrow, it would have to be on an African safari. I love exploring and watching wildlife in their natural habitats while soaking in the beauty of the Savannah at sunset.

What’s your idea of a luxury wellness holiday?

A small boutique hotel right by the sea. It would be perfect to start each morning with yoga and enjoy fresh, delicious food throughout the day, with plenty of water sports to keep me active. And if there was no reception, that would take it to another level to help you switch off!

My top bucket-list destination is…

My top bucket list destination has to be Iceland. I hope I get to see the Northern lights one day!
