I was intrigued when I was given the opportunity to try this new treatment, especially since I would end up with a non-permanent result and my skin and brow hairs would be spared from any harsh chemicals, instead, plant-based amino acids would be used.

What is The Organic Brow Lift?

First things first. What exactly is a Brow Lift? It’s essentially a treatment that re-shapes your brow hairs and makes them easy to shape (think thick brows from using the ‘soap trick’ but with a more permanent result). Brow Lifts at Jiemao Lashes & Brows have become a popular natural alternative to traditional micro-blading and as a result, Jiemao launched the unique signature treatment – Organic Brow Lift which is cruelty-free only uses medical and food grade ingredients and does not contain any harsh chemicals.

The Organic Brow Lifts are popular since they are lower maintenance and on average last 6-8 weeks. It’s great for those looking for a more natural look and for those with sensitive skin who would like to stay clear of harsh chemicals such as Thioglycolate,  Ammonia,  Ammonium, and Ethanolamine. The Organic Brow Lift – Review

I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect when I arrived at Jiemao’s Marylebone salon but one thing I had been promised was big bushy brows, which was music to my ears. Naturally having fairly thin eyebrows the idea of waking up in the morning with brows a la Brooke Shields without having to use an eyebrow pencil, wax or powder was too good to not try.

Once I was laying on the treatment table, Paula the lovely girl who did my treatment, carefully explained the three steps which included different products being applied in various steps on the brows. Each application took up to 20 min. It was quick and seamless when Paula gently applied the formulas. The final step involved my brows being shaped and tinted, if I wanted they would also be plucked, however, the plucking part was not necessary and I was happy to just have them shaped and tinted.

When the moment of truth was finally there to see the result, I couldn’t believe my eyes. Was that my own natural brows? Could they naturally look that thick? The treatment had not only made my brows look thicker, but they also had a lovely shape and the colour was perfect. Paula had mixed a bit of ash colour to perfectly compliment my skintone. I was delighted!
