Beginning with their Fun, Bright Bouquet, Flowers Across Melbourne first partnered with Maneki Neko Cat Rescue “to improve the welfare of less fortunate cats and kittens!” Reflecting the fun nature of cats, 10% of Fun, Bright Bouquet sales during April went directly to improve the welfare of cats and kittens, reducing euthanasia rates and increasing rehoming rates by finding loving homes for healthy de-sexed cats and kittens.

Cancer Support Angels

Flowers Across Melbourne recently worked alongside the Cancer Support Angels, a not-for-profit organisation focussed on providing direct practical, financial and emotional support during and after the treatment period. With a mission statement of “no one fights alone,” Flowers Across Melbourne knew it was up to them to lend a helping hand. During August, 10% of the proceeds from their Little Blooms bouquet sales has been donated to the Cancer Support Angels.

The Period Project

On behalf of the National Homeless Collective, which delivers sleeping bags to rough sleepers outside Flinders Street Station, The Period Project provides sanitary items to homeless women. With a mission “to support women, transgender men and GNC & NB people experiencing homelessness across Australia by providing free sanitary products, assistance, and support,” Flowers Across Melbourne donated a portion of the proceeds from their Little Flower Box during July.

The Sexual Assault and Family Violence Centre

Flowers Across Melbourne supported the Sexual Assault and Family Violence Centre and their “vision for a community free from family violence and sexual assault, and a society underpinned by the principles of gender equality, social justice and human rights.” Adding their voices to the discussion, a portion of the proceeds from their Darling Disbuds Blue in May were donated.
