When planning, or deciding to treat the children to, a fun family holiday, one of the biggest factors to take into consideration is none other than the accommodation. Sometimes it might be difficult to narrow down a place that is close to the fun activities planned during the holiday, so this list of hotels/resorts brings the activities to where there is rest and rejuvenation! These family-friendly hotels are great for the whole family to get around and enjoy a plethora of activities, and also offer various activities for adults to unwind and relax.

Ten years after Graham Greene walked these halls, and they haven't missed a beat. The Opera House steps, the wartime tunnels underfoot, the Angelina salon where cocktails taste like history—they're all part of a legacy that doesn't need to shout to be heard. Three hours from Hanoi. Seven hectares on the edge Three hours from Hanoi. Seven hectares on the edge of Ha Long Bay. Two buildings designed like traditional fishing vessels. One rooftop dinner that pairs Kagoshima Wagyu with Nuits-Saint-Georges. The math checks out. What makes this property exceptional isn't the awards or the price points—it's the willingness to let simple things (poolside pizza, afternoon tea with a limestone backdrop, quiet mornings at the Club Lounge) carry as much weight as the five-course tasting menus. Sometimes luxury is knowing when not to try too hard. Read @janoahvankekem ´s full review of @intercontinental_halongbay for @luxnomade on the website.
