Taking its cue from its owner, Dr. Aron Harilela, Chairman and CEO of Harilela Hotels, The Hari Hong Kong is a handsome hotel brand which seeks to inject modern luxury and social dynamism into the district.

As with all Tara Bernerd & Partners designs, locale is everything. Bridging the commercial pulse of Causeway Bay and the creative design scene of Wan Chai, the Practice has sought to contrast the commercial heritage of the neighbourhood with a contemporary forward-looking attitude. A polished palate is offset by mid-century furniture and striking artwork aimed at capturing the essence of entering into the chicest of Hong Kong homes.

Rome is loud. @editionrome is the quiet answer. W Rome is loud. @editionrome is the quiet answer.

While others compete for ornate grandeur, Ian Schrager and Statuto Group built a sophisticated apartment for discerning travelers just off Via Veneto. This 93-room gem swaps heavy drapes for floor-to-ceiling windows, warm walnut, and scents that smell like refinement rather than "hotel."

It is not a museum you sleep in; it is a sanctuary where the Roman chaos stops at the threshold. From Chef Antonio Gentile's tasting menu at Anima to the light shifting over your penthouse before Trastevere, the vibe is simple: refined stillness in the heart of the fray.

Here is the question: Would you book a room screaming with views of the Trevi Fountain, or a suite on Via Veneto where the only drama happens on the dinner plate? Let us know.

Five historic villas, one impossible-to-beat locat Five historic villas, one impossible-to-beat location. Casa METT is redefining what a boutique escape looks like in Sitges by merging 19th-century architecture with a California-cool aesthetic.
