The main building of Athenian Residences is a traditional grade-listed house from the 1920s. It has a beautiful exterior and renovations were carefully done to restore its former glory. This is the building where the two traditional rooms are located in the old building and sleeps up to three and six people.

Walk across the pretty courtyard with a well (still working) as a centrepiece next to the swimming pool and you’ll reach the modern building of the complex which is housing three spacious (70sqm) luxury suites spread across three floors. Each suite can accommodate up to four people

The modern apartment on the ground floor offers a real wow-factor. The spacious sitting room with its high ceilings boasts an open fully equipped kitchen with an oven, toaster, Nespresso machine (with unlimited capsules), filter coffee machine, kettle, and fridge. The large dining table is made out of grey stone which matches the designer chairs and a beautiful sofa and green armchair. The interior is cosmopolitan with a chic industrial vibe with polished concrete floors and the latest appliances such as a curved LED TV. The spacious bedroom is located next to the sitting rooms and has large windows facing the courtyard and the swimming pool. The Queen size bed is comfortable and additional luxury has been added with a large flatscreen TV and a separate large walk-in closet. The apartment has everything you might need and with air-con throughout, bathroom amenities, plenty of extra towels, fluffy robes, slippers, complimentary fast Wi-Fi and a Netflix account set up ready to be used, Athenian Residences really feels like a luxury home-away-from-home.

The daily Breakfast Box

The complimentary daily breakfast is fantastic! Guests are provided with a breakfast menu including eight breakfast boxes with names such as ‘Vegan’, ‘English’, ‘Greek’ and ‘Sweet Lovers’.

The boxes are delivered to your suite and can be enjoyed in the apartment alternatively they can easily be packed as a picnic for families or couples preferring to get up early to explore the city and enjoy it on-the-go. Depending on which ‘box’ you’ve picked prepared to be delighted with goodies such as Greek yoghurt, honey, coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, scrambled eggs, muesli bars, nuts, fresh savoury, and sweet pastries, bread (gluten-free options available), Greek salads and homemade biscuits, pies, cakes, and pralines.

The warm and friendly hospitality at Athenian Residences

Part of what makes Athenian Residences so special and outstanding is the friendly and warm Maria. She brings the breakfast of your choice in the morning, ensures your daily treats are waiting for you when you return to your apartment (no one is going hungry here). Maria also equips you with a map of the city after highlighting landmarks, cocktail bars, and restaurants. Her attention to detail is outstanding with fresh flowers, large bowls of fresh fruit, daily refreshments including wine, local spirits such as ouzo paired with olives, crackers, and nuts. The treats are delivered with a personally written note explaining the origin of the spirits and how to drink it.

Athenian Residences offer complimentary parking service as well as shuttle transport to and from the airport. There are also bicycles and car rental services available. The main gate, as well as the doors to the rooms, are operated with a high-end security system requiring a swipe-card. For late check-ins, guests are provided with a security code for easy access.
