Rowlee Wines opens a restaurant and bar, Rowlee Dining and Bar, the grounds of their acclaimed vineyard estate in Orange, NSW
Going beyond offering a bespoke cellar door experience that celebrates their cool climate wines, the duo behind Rowlee Wines have created a 100-seat venue, Rowlee Dining and Bar, spread across a series of intimate spaces. Featuring luxurious interiors, and set against sprawling lawns, and undulating vineyards, the new hospitality offering is sure to become a destination for locals and visitors alike.
A Menu Designed To Share
In keeping with the Rowlee philosophy, which emphasises shared experiences and community, Head Chef Simon Furley has created an a la carte menu that features classic seasonal fare designed to be shared amongst friends and loved ones.
Modern classics with refined techniques feature garden-grown, local and sustainably sourced produce.
The menu features a substantial Snacks list, for those wanting to enjoy a glass of one of Rowlee’s wines at the bar overlooking the vines. Cosseted in velvet curtains that reflect the hues of Orange’s spectacular autumnal vistas the lounge and dining room are the perfect places to nestle in for lunch and dinner.
Guests can expect to find Rowlee Wine’s entire selection of drops and a broader list of international and local wines. A substantial cocktail list has been designed, suitable for celebrations, and intimate sunsets for two.
Simon Furley, the Head Chef, hails from Bath, England, and has most recently worked at Homage and Beechmont Estate in Queensland’s Scenic Rim. Before arriving in Australia seven years ago he was traversing Europe and cooking in some enviable locations including a resort in Greece, Michelin-starred eateries, luxury yachts and ski chalets.
